Privacy Policy
This is the port's data manifest — a plain-language log of what SPAWNPORT GAME STATION records when you book a pod or signal the crew, why we hold it, and how long it stays on the manifest. We keep the log short because we keep the data short.
Who runs this port
SPAWNPORT GAME STATION operates a single physical gaming venue at 50 Rundle Mall, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia, and the website at spawnport.online. When this policy says "we", "us" or "the port", it means that business. We are the party responsible for the personal information described below, and the crew email [email protected] is the single point of contact for anything on this page.
What we collect
When you use the booking form we log four things: the name you type, the email you type, the date you pick, and the room and block you choose. That is the entire flight plan — nothing more is captured through this site. We do not ask for a payment card, a home address, a date of birth or a phone number to reserve a pod. Payment for pod time is settled in person at the desk, so no card data ever touches this website.
If you email the crew directly, we hold whatever you choose to put in that message and our reply — the same as any inbox. If you drop in and pay at the desk, your visit is recorded only as far as a normal till receipt goes.
Why we hold it
Those booking details do one job: they let us hold your pod, confirm the reservation, and reach you by email if a dock changes or the port needs to move your block. We do not use your details to build a marketing profile, we do not sell, rent or trade them to anyone, and we run no advertising trackers or data brokers on this site. There is no newsletter machine quietly harvesting your address in the background.
How long we keep it
Booking records are cleared on a rolling basis once your visit has passed and there is no longer a reason to keep them — typically within a short window after the date on the booking. Email threads are kept only as long as they are useful for answering you or resolving an issue. You can ask us to wipe your details from the manifest sooner at any time, and we will.
Who else can see it
Your booking data stays with the port crew. The only outside parties involved are the ordinary infrastructure that makes a website and an inbox work — our web host and our email provider — and they only ever see data in the course of delivering that service, never for their own purposes. We do not hand your information to advertisers, analytics firms or list-brokers, because we do not work with any.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising pixels. The web fonts that give the port its Orbitron console look load from Google Fonts so the page renders as designed; beyond that, nothing on the page is watching you. The full breakdown lives in our Cookie Policy.
Keeping it secure
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to booking records is limited to the crew who need it to run a shift. No system is perfectly sealed, but because we deliberately collect so little — no cards, no addresses, no phone numbers — there is very little on the manifest for anyone to want.
Your rights under Australian law
SPAWNPORT GAME STATION operates in Australia, so your personal information is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you and to have it corrected, and you may ask us to delete it. If you believe we have mishandled it, raise it with us first; if you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC, oaic.gov.au). To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will reply from the desk.
Changes to this manifest
If how we handle data changes, we update this page. The version you are reading is the current one; there is no separate archive, so the live page is always the source of truth.
